I've been thinking about writing a children's story for a few years now as I have two children myself. We read every night to them and over the years I feel like I have gained a good grasp of what makes an exciting and captivating book. Children love using their imagination and my book gives them that, especially when they play outside at the park as they can follow the story of the book. Children also love looking over books for small details so I've written my book with that in mind and added in some great little details for them to see. I decided to write a space-themed children's book because of my passion for space. From being a small child getting my first telescope, taking up astrophotography and watching sci-fi films and shows, space has always been a part of my life. I hope children and adults enjoy my book as much as I have loved writing it.
NEMY
I am also known as the Medway Spaceman as I plan to visit schools in my community with my book. I have a replica Apollo spacesuit to give the visits a real WOW factor and to inspire children to learn and about space and the space community.
Follow me as I begin my amazing journey to get as many children and adults involved in all things about space, from the latest rocket launches, to our space tour of the schools of Medway and on our upcoming books in the future. It's going to be a fantastic journey!
